‘All We Need Is Sanctuary’ is the new single from deux furieuses. The band have continued to use their melodic post-punk as an outlet for politically charged messages that stand up against injustice. The track “describes a journey from the pandemic pressure of an overcrowded city to an old world of trees, springs, paths and stars. An SOS from scrambled minds in search of the sanity of sanctuary, as the sanctuary itself is under threat of extinction.” It places shimmering, ringing guitars against a huge drum sound and an almost pleading vocal display. Their unique, inimitable sound is consistently moving, and can be explored in depth on their new album, Songs From Planet Earth, which drops on November 11th, 2022. -Dan Peeke.
